Current Concerns/Interests in Town
  • Budget Planning - Recent budget approach doesn't appear to have solid funding for upcoming years, but plans for the moment rather than the future. The focus should be for the long-term.
  • Invenergy Project - Opposed to the project, Have been an active participant in the opposition process.  Concerned that the town needs to quickly prepare for the upcoming decision from the EFSB, whether it is for or against the project.
  • Substance Abuse - Would like to ensure that this continues to be a focus for our town in the upcoming years
  • New Comprehensive Plan - Participated in the planning board meetings, providing direct input into the accepted updates.  Would love to be part of the council to help achieve the new goals set forward by the plan
Motivation for Running
  • Simply, because Burrillville has been my home. I feel strongly that it is important for people to chip in and do their part.  While I am a first time candidate, I feel that my work experience, combined with the fact that I have spent my entire life living in Burrillville, will allow me to contribute in a positive way.
